POTTERY
From Neolithic age the Cypriot craftsman used the attributes of clay to manufacture various household items in order to serve the needs of their daily life.
[Kaminaria] developed the art of pottery to a large extent with result it is classified between the four more important centres of pottery in Cyprus.
This art developed as a profitable job for the residents of community. Entire families lived from this profession. The last century the art of pottery developed rapidly and was almost industrialised but finally it was rescued as cottage industry.
The hand made vessels of kaminaria, are made with the same way as thousands years ago, without big changes
